July 1986-All students enter SUNT (Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training). Each would receive a 65-day Common Core training course and then be selected for 1 of 3 training tracks. (1-Fighter/Attack/Recon; 2-Tanker/Transport/Bomber; 3-EWO)

When Mather AFB closed the mission of Navigator and EWO Training was shifted to Randolph AFB.
