Welcome to the only website dedicated to the historic preservation of US Air Force Navigator and Electronic Warfare Officer patches.

***Last update - 01/24/08***
As I promised when I opened my first website on Flying Training patches (http://www.usafupt.com), here is the website dedicated to Navigator (NAV), Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) and Combat System Officer (CSO) patches.  Again, it is by far not representative of all the insignia there ever was, but there are a multitude of pages and over 1000 patches pictured. It is because of the generosity of the Air Force Navigator Observer Association that you are seeing this website now (please look at the links page for their site information).

To navigate this site, pick a base from the top of the page and just start clicking. All patches shown are in my possession and have been amassed over the last 30 years. I have it arranged that when my time does come, the entire collection will be given over to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. (However I don't plan on leaving soon!)

I wanted to save this part of Aviation History because there was no one else that cared about US Air Force NAV and EWO Training. To date, there is no official gathering of this history on the part of the US Air Force. The Office of Heraldry only has information on Wings, Groups, Squadrons and Aircraft (nothing on Training Flights or Classes), so I welcome all inputs.

Finally.....If your unit patch or class patch is not shown on the
site, please consider donating or selling the patch to me so I can
continue to keep this history alive. Unfortunately, scans do not get
posted to the site, but they do get kept in a reference library.
